A message from Ryedale District Council:
We received an encouragement from the Lord Lieutenant’s Office (The Queen’s representative in North Yorkshire) to nominate our local voluntary sector groups for the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups, the equivalent of the MBE and recognises the outstanding work they perform within their communities. Anyone can nominate a group, so please do look at the guidance notes and nominate accordingly if you feel appropriate.
If you do nominate, it would be helpful if you could let us know, to feed back to the LL Office.
Mrs J Holmes, Senior Commissioning Officer,
Ryedale District Council.
