Talk on Pickering Memorial Hall

Friday evening talks with the Pickering branch of the WEA resume next week with Andrew Husband talking about the Pickering War Memorial Hall.

The Hall was created in 1922 by conversion of an old mill, in memory of the Pickering men killed in the First World War. This hall, now modernised, serves as a community centre, and is, indeed, where the talk will be held.

Friday January 12, at 7.30 pm, at Pickering Memorial Hall. All welcome: there is no fee, but a donation of £2 towards costs is appreciated.
