NSPCC Christmas Fair moves to Duncombe Park

The popular NSPCC Christmas Fair is moving this year from its regular venue at Castle Howard to Duncombe Park.

Bringing together a handpicked selection of exhibitors, The NSPCC Duncombe Park Christmas Fair offers discerning shoppers an exciting array of beautiful, unusual, and special gift ideas along with loads of lovely treats for the Christmas season.

nspcc-fairAround 70 carefully selected stalls provide gifts in all categories, for every age group and budget, offering  books, toys, jewellery, high quality clothing for all the family including luxury items such as cashmere, gorgeous home accessories as well as gifts for enthusiastic cooks and foodies, gardeners, golfers and sporting enthusiasts.   Half of the stalls for 2016 are first time exhibitors at the Christmas Fair and bring plenty of new ideas for shoppers, whilst the remaining best-selling ranges return with the favourites we like to buy each year.

Everything sold raises vital funds for NSPCC projects, helping vulnerable young people in Yorkshire and beyond. This year is a special year for the NSPCC as it celebrates 30 years of ChildLine, the telephone helpline dedicated to giving confidential advice to vulnerable young people.

Money raised at the Christmas Fair goes towards the NSPCC’s vital services for children, young people and families in the Yorkshire region.  10% of each stall holders’ takings go direct to the charity, as does income from ticket sales, sponsors and donations, and raffle tickets.

Duncombe Park is not normally open to the public, so the Fair gives shoppers the unique opportunity to explore this beautiful and impressive stately home.

The Fair starts with  a glamorous preview evening on Thursday November 17, and continues on Friday and Saturday the 18th and 19th. Daytime tickets are £8 if ordered in advance or £10 on the door. Please visit the Fair website for further details.
