Learn to photograph all things railway

From the North Yorkshire Moors Railway:

Announcing  one day workshops ideal for those wishing to learn to use their digital cameras more creatively, whilst photographing trains, stations, people and landscapes along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

The workshops are designed for photographers of all abilities, and so are offered at a Beginners, and at an Improvers/Intermediate level, so that you can choose the course that best fits your skills and experience.

Led by professional landscape photographer, author and teacher John Potter, you will learn how to take good quality location and landscape images, as well as characterful portraits both at Pickering Station and along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

You will be shown how to use the more creative modes of your camera, so that you can take control of ISO settings, exposure, depth of field, white balance and shutter speeds, and you will be given expert guidance on composition for both candid portraits and landscapes.
