From Kirkby Fruit Project:
Would you like your early cropping apples juiced free of charge?
Then come along to our first Community Juicing Day of the 2017 season at Netherby, West End, Kirkbymoorside, on the first Sunday in October between 2pm and 4pm.
Apples juiced while you wait! The fresh juice will last for up to three days if refrigerated. You can also freeze or pasteurise the juice, and we will tell you how to do this. Alternatively, you can put your juice in a container with an airlock and allow it to ferment to produce cider.
Remember to bring containers for your juice: you can expect about 1 litre of juice for each 2kg of apples.
If you have a large number of apples please contact Chris (email: email@example.com), so we can arrange enough helpers to help reduce queuing.
Looking forward to seeing you.
