If you didn’t manage to get tickets for a carol concert at York Minster, but would still like to go to a special event, try our favourite church in York, Holy Trinity in Goodramgate, now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
Describing itself as “York’s most atmospheric medieval church”, Holy Trinity is the perfect setting for an evening concert of carols by candlelight.
On December 14 and again on the 21st, a vocal quartet will perform a mix of festive pieces both old and new, as well as leading the audience in favourite carols.
Refreshments will be available; so wrap up warm, bring a blanket, and enjoy the perfect start to your Christmas season!
Tickets £6 adults; £3 children. Book here.
