Over the school summer holidays there are a range of family friendly events taking place at the Beck Isle Museum.
Pop into the museum between 26 July and 3 September and get creative with craft activities suitable for the whole family, with a different theme each fortnight. Have a go at creating sea creatures, design and make penny spinners and other Victorian toys and make your own farm using all sorts of materials.
See the museum brought to life on Rural Craft Days (2, 16 and 30 August) as our skilled volunteers demonstrate traditional rural crafts including rag rugging and butter making. See the magnificent Columbian printing press in action and find out more about the various medicines, pills and remedies in the Chemists Shop.
For younger visitors we have storytime sessions for the under 5s taking place on Thursday 10 August and Friday 25th August from 10.30 – 11.30.
